Life as we know it today evolved and continues in its present form due to series of reactions involving diverse organic molecules within various biological compartments. This led to the genesis of different cellular organelles with specific cellular functions ranging from generation and storage of energy to cellular replication, cellular waste processing, defense etc.
Further integration of these processes led to formation of tissues having a common purpose. These developed into organs, organ systems and finally highly evolved Organisms.
Modern day, Jeevrasayan (Biochemistry) is probably the only subject which allows one to understand the principles, the processes and eventually the purpose behind myriads of Pathways regulating our health.
These are often finely regulated and extremely sensitive to changes in the environment, always trying to keep the body in harmony by balancing both internal and external changes in an organisms environment.
